Bulldog Baseball

I love baseball. I don't really love to watch it on TV, but I love the atmosphere of going to a game. It's a close second to football to me. I'll never expect Bishop to be a baseball player unless he wants to be one (bless his heart...he has my genes which do not equal athlete!)...but secretly I hope he does :) And, of course, he'll want to play for the Bulldogs when/if he does play. This year, while we weren't able to make it to as many games as we would like, we were able to make it to the first of the regional tournament. I was super proud of the way he behaved. Not only was it a long game, but it was way past his bedtime and he lasted the whole game. Maybe it was because  he and I literally ate our way through the game. I figured we didn't do this much, so we went all out...lemonade, hotdog, popcorn, m&m's, dippin' dots, peanuts...seriously, we were ridiculous! But, we enjoyed every minute! AND...the Dawgs ended up #2 in the nation this year!! So proud of them!

Memorial Day Continued...

The last post was actually the Saturday before Memorial Day, so on memorial day we had a little "birthday party" for my dad. If there is cake involved, to Bishop, it is a party :) I love "parties" that are this laid back. Leon grilled and Bishop and I made lemonade and an Oreo cake and we played all day. Well, I pretty much sat in a chair all day which equals pure bliss to me these days :)

Memorial Day Weekend

I always consider it a blessing to be off with my family, especially on holidays. There are still things I have to miss but nothing like my former job. So I was super happy to be off and able to join my family for some fun at Granna and Grandaddy's camper.

Ally Kate's first boat ride

Bishop got to do some fishing with daddy

And we got to play with Jake

Such a fun memorial day!

Mother's Day

Where was I last? Oh, yeah, Mother's Day weekend. After the zoo, we had church and lunch with my mom...and a little surprise for her.

I know I say this ALL the time, but some days I just need to remind myself how THANKFUL I am to be called mom. It really is the hugest blessing in my life. It's the toughest job by far, but definitely the most rewarding. Can't wait to be a mom again soon!

And, a little surprise for mom....

Yep, it's another boy!! And I couldn't be happier.  Although, I'm sure I'd be just as happy with a girl but maybe a little more nervous!

Now, for a name!! Taking suggestions :)
