Bringing Ben home was completely different than bringing Bishop home. With Ben, I was less emotional and more concerned with being able to balance my attention between a 3 year old and a newborn. Thank goodness I have an amazing husband to help me! I would not make it without him. I love being home with both of my boys, but I also cherish the times when Bishop is in school to be able to spend with Ben. Bishop is truly in love with him. He has to see him first thing in the morning. Every single morning. He has to hold him when he gets home from school. And the second he whimpers, he yells "Mama, he needs you!" Sure, there is the occasional moment where I can sense a little jealousy simply because every waking moment up until now my attention has been focused on Bishop, but honestly it is rare. I feel very fortunate that he loves him so very much. I will never be able to thank the Lord enough for these two.
Ben's first bath
The Christopher's came to visit
Watching football with daddy
Bishop insisted Ben watch him eat breakfast before church
My absolute favorite thing to do.
I don't really do the whole selfie thing, but I never want to forget snuggling with this sweet boy.
Enjoying the last few days of warmth on our porch swing
