Weekend at the Warrington's

We had a WAY overdue trip to Kosciusko a few weeks ago. I think JJ and I decided that it was the longest we had gone without seeing each other in several years. We can not let that happen again. It was so good to see them.  Our boys get along really well..as much as an 18 month old and a 15 month old can, that is. They played and danced around in Harvey's room Saturday morning.

Then after some mommy shopping time, lunch, and naps, we played outside on the water slide and had a cookout with JJ's family and friends. Or at least that was supposed to be what happened.

Bishop woke up crying from his nap with a 102 fever. He has never had a 102 fever in his entire 15 months and he gets one when we are away from home. GREAT! He acted fine, just had a fever.  I still freaked out about it a little.

So, he had to take it easy until it cooled of so we spent a lot of the afternoon inside watching Mickey Mouse while everyone else played.

The sweet Johnson girls came and played too.

Wrigley enjoyed the water too!

After the tylenol took effect and we had nurse RoRo's approval, Bishop finally got to play a little in the water.
He kept pointing at everyone in the pool saying "wa wa, wa wa" which of course means "water" in Bishop lanquage.

Emma Grace really loves the water slide!

And sweet Emerson prefered driving the Flintstone car.

And, what is a summer party without......

We also got to play with Hill Hawkins...yet another reason we wish Kosciusko was closer!

Sweet blue-eyed boy!

They both wanted in the car at first, but we convinced Bishop that it was "fun" to push Hill around in it.

Hill doesn't look convinced....

They really did have fun! However, Bishop is not the best driver though, he kept pushing Hill into Allens truck. Hill didn't seem to mind though.

Isn't this child precious?! I miss him and can't wait to see him again in THREE weeks...at the BEACH!

Fever? What? Who?

And maybe my favorite part of the day, even though it didn't even involve me was the late afternoon. Allen and Leon took the boys for a ride in the truck around in the pasture. It was the cutest thing ever. I think it pretty much made Leon's week.

***Please no one think I am a terrible mom for letting him do all of these things while he was sick. You honestly wouldn't have even known it by the way he was acting. Plus, I did check with people who had more experience than me to make sure he was ok.  AND, most of the time we were inside resting. I promise. ***
