Newborn pictures

Rebecca Dodson did our family photos of Ben when we brought him home. I got lucky and she was in Booneville that week. I LOVE them all. She is amazing. I really did narrow these down....

How in the world do I choose?! They are all so special to me.  Thank you Rebecca, so much!

Life at Home

Bringing Ben home was completely different than bringing Bishop home. With Ben, I was less emotional and more concerned with being able to balance my attention between a 3 year old and a newborn. Thank goodness I have an amazing husband to help me! I would not make it without him. I love being home with both of my boys, but I also cherish the times when Bishop is in school to be able to spend with Ben. Bishop is truly in love with him. He has to see him first thing in the morning. Every single morning. He has to hold him when he gets home from school. And the second he whimpers, he yells "Mama, he needs you!" Sure, there is the occasional moment where I can sense a little jealousy simply because every waking moment  up until now my attention has been focused on Bishop, but honestly it is rare. I feel very fortunate that he loves him so very much. I will never be able to thank the Lord enough for these two.

Bishop insisted Ben watch him eat breakfast before church

My absolute favorite thing to do.
I don't really do the whole selfie thing, but I never want to forget snuggling with this sweet boy.

What a blessing this sweet baby is to so many people already!

I love how much he loves this baby already. Pure preciousness.

Ready to go home!!

A Baby Shower for Ben

At the time, it really wasn't a shower for "Ben" since he really didn't have a name but whatever. So, I am usually the one in the family in charge of the showers/parties because that is what I love to do. I'm the one stressing over pirate cookies and john deere cakes and matching cupcake holders and all that jazz. Everyone else helps too, don't get me wrong...I just usually have some part in it. Therefore it was hard for me to just come and enjoy the shower :) I volunteered cookies but my mom acted like I was crazy. And, apparently she has a hidden talent for awesome party planning! She is pretty crafty if I must say! It was perfect...she even had perfect weather, something I am terrible at! We sure did miss my sister and her boys though! Poor Jonah had spent all night in the ER and was a sick boy :(

The last picture of my pregnant self. I could kick myself for not taking one the day he was born. I said I would do better but I actually think I did worse with pictures this time!

It was all so adorable and yummy!

Ally Kate modeled her hula outfit that G&G got her in Hawaii

Bishop, Cole, and Ally Kate got a quick horse ride before the party started...I was shocked he got on. But, his sweet daddy got on with him :)
