The Beau Rivage

Leon had a conference at the Beau Rivage in Biloxi the same week that Russ was getting married. Since Gerald also was at the conference, my mom, Bishop, and I went along too. We ended up making it a road trip to Biloxi for one night, then on to Gulf Shores for three. Wow, were we worn out after that!

When we first got to Biloxi, my mom and I went shopping at Steinmart....her all time favorite store. Obviously it is not Bishop's favorite store since he decided to have a MAJOR blowout just before we went in. B and I spent most of our time in the bathroom cleaning up while mom shopped!

After the shopping, we headed back to the room to get ready and go eat. Once again, Bishop was an angel the whole time we ate. I have never taken him anywhere and regretted it....YET! I know my day is coming soon enough!  Anyway, since we had a 3 month old baby, we by-passed all the gambling (which I absolutely despise anyway) and went back to the room for the evening. The sleeping situation was a bit rough, but we survived. He is used to his own bed and his own space, but rather than carrying his pack and play through the casino and garage we just thought we would all share a king sized bed. It would be plenty big enough for all of us....umm, no! I have no idea how people sleep with babies!! It probably is a lot different when you are used to it, but we were all three waking each other up all night! Like I said, we survived...and it could have been much worse.

Talking with daddy before bedtime
The next day we decided to take Bishop to the pool for his first swim (besides the muddy water on July 4th). He LOVED it. He REALLY wants a pool now, I just know it. Anyway...here are some photos!
